5.2 Blade Tension Adjustment

The rotatable button on the shearing head is used to adjust the blade tension. Proper tension is crucial for effective shearing and to prevent excessive heat buildup.

Adjust the tension gradually until the blades cut cleanly without excessive resistance or heat. A good starting point is to tighten the tension nut until it is snug, then back it off slightly.

• Use smooth, consistent strokes, moving against the direction of hair growth.
• Keep the blades flat against the animal's skin to avoid cutting too deep or leaving uneven patches.
