Alternatively, it can be connected to existing doorbell wiring (12-24V AC or 8-24V DC transformers supported) for constant power. Batteries will serve as a backup in case of a power outage when wired.

Chime-Repeater Setup:
The included Chime-Repeater is essential for the doorbell's operation as it acts as a bridge to your Wi-Fi network. It should be placed within 5 meters (approximately 16 feet) of the doorbell for optimal signal strength. The Chime-Repeater requires constant power via its USB-C port (power adapter not included).

Integrasi Aplikasi:
Download the Aqara Home app and follow the on-screen instructions to add the Chime-Repeater and then the Video Doorbell G4. The doorbell supports Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT. For HomeKit Secure Video features, an iCloud subscription and a HomeKit hub (like HomePod or Apple TV) are required.

Operating Your Aqara Video Doorbell G4
24/7 Recording and Storage:
The doorbell supports 24/7 recording when wired, with footage stored on a Micro SD card (up to 512 GB, not included) in the Chime-Repeater. This ensures local storage that cannot be accessed externally. Additionally, 7 days of event-based cloud storage is included. Local NAS storage via Samba protocol is also supported.

Local Face Recognition and Automations:
The G4 features local AI for face recognition, allowing for personalized alerts and automations. You can customize actions based on recognized faces, such as triggering smart home scenes. This enhances security and convenience by identifying familiar visitors.

Voice Changing Function and Custom Ringtones:
For privacy, the doorbell offers a voice changing function during two-way audio communication, allowing you to disguise your voice to one of four options (e.g., uncle, robot). Custom ringtones can also be set for both indoor and outdoor units, providing flexibility for alerts and automations.

Pemeliharaan
Masa Pakai dan Penggantian Baterai:
The doorbell can achieve up to 4 months of battery life when operating in Battery-Saving Mode. Battery level can be monitored via the Aqara Home app. When batteries are low, replace all 6 AA 1.5V batteries to ensure continuous operation.
Manajemen Penyimpanan Lokal:
Ensure a Micro SD card (not included) is inserted into the Chime-Repeater for 24/7 local recording. Regularly check the storage capacity and manage recordings as needed. The Chime-Repeater supports Micro SD cards up to 512 GB.

Masalah Umum dan Solusinya:
- Daya Tahan Baterai Buruk: Ensure the doorbell is installed in a shaded area if possible. If wired, confirm the transformer meets the 12-24V AC or 8-24V DC requirements. Enable Battery-Saving Mode in the Aqara Home app.
- Masalah Konektivitas: Verify the Chime-Repeater is within 5 meters of the doorbell. Check your Wi-Fi signal strength. Ensure your Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz, as 5 GHz is not supported.
- Video Quality/Night Vision: Ensure the lens is clean. For optimal night vision, ensure there are no strong light sources directly facing the camera.
