5. Tindakan pencegahan keselamatan
- Ensure the car battery is a 12V battery.
- volumetage of the car battery must be between 11V and 25V for proper operation.
- The applicable coil resistance of the relay should preferably be above 20Ω.
- Always connect the black alligator clip to the negative terminal and the red alligator clip to the positive terminal of the car battery.
- Do not attempt to test relays outside the specified voltage or pin configurations.
6. Pengaturan
- Locate your vehicle's 12V battery.
- Connect the black alligator clip of the RT01 detector to the negative (-) terminal of the car battery.
- Connect the red alligator clip of the RT01 detector to the positive (+) terminal of the car battery.
- Once connected, the digital display on the RT01 will show the battery voltage, and a red LED light will illuminate, indicating the tester is ready for use.
7. Petunjuk Pengoperasian
Follow these steps to test your automotive relays:
- Hubungkan ke Baterai: Ensure the alligator clips are securely connected to the car battery (black to negative, red to positive). The digital display should show the battery voltage, and the red LED should be on.
- Select Pin Configuration: Before inserting the relay, identify if it is a 4-pin or 5-pin relay. Use the switch on the RT01 to select the corresponding socket (4PIN or 5PIN).

- Interpretasi Hasil:
- If the test is successful and the relay is normal, the lampu LED hijau akan menyala.
- If the test fails and the relay is not normal (e.g., broken pin, inconsistent operation), the red LED light akan menyala.
- Tes Lengkap: Once the test is complete, remove the alligator clips from the battery and then remove the relay from the tester.
8. Penyelesaian masalah
- Lampu LED Merah Menyala: A red LED light indicates a fault. This could mean the relay is damaged, not a universal type, or has inconsistent operation. Check the relay for visible damage (e.g., broken pins).
- No Display/No Lights: Ensure the alligator clips are securely connected to the car battery terminals and that the battery voltage is within the 11V-25V operating range. Check for loose connections.
