1. Pendahuluan

Note: The KW330 scanner is primarily designed to diagnose the engine system, read and clear trouble codes. It does not support ABS, SRS, transmission, or other system diagnostics.

  1. Green LED: Indicates correct engine operation. No diagnostic trouble codes.
  2. Yellow LED: Indicates a possible problem. Some diagnostics could not be performed and/or a DTC is pending.
  3. Red LED: Indicates a problem from the engine. The MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light) may be on.

3. Pengaturan dan Konfigurasi Awal

3.1 Menghubungkan Perangkat

4. Petunjuk Pengoperasian

The KW330 offers a range of functions to diagnose your vehicle's engine system. Use the directional buttons to navigate the menu and 'OK' to select options. 'ESC' will take you back to the previous screen.

4.1 Baca Kode

This function reads diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) stored in the vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU). It displays both active and pending codes along with their descriptions.

4.2 Hapus Kode

After performing repairs or troubleshooting, use this function to clear stored fault codes from the ECU and turn off the "Check Engine" light (Malfunction Indicator Lamp - MIL).

4.3 Data Stream (Live Data)

Displays real-time and dynamic data parameters from various vehicle sensors and control parameters in a graphical or text format. This is useful for monitoring engine performance and identifying intermittent issues.

4.4 I/M Readiness Monitor Function

4.5 Bingkai Beku

When a fault code is triggered, the ECU records a snapshot of the vehicle's operating data at that moment. This data helps in understanding the conditions under which the fault occurred.

4.6 Uji Sensor O2

4.7 On-Board Monitoring (Catalyst Monitor)

View the results of continuous monitoring tests performed by the vehicle on various systems and components, such as the Catalyst Monitor.

4.8 EVAP Leak Test

Initiates a command for the vehicle to perform a leak detection test on the Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP).

4.9 Pemeriksaan Baterai

Provides an accurate check of the vehicle's battery status by displaying voltage readings at different stagyaitu.

  • Before Engine Starting:
    • <10.8V: Too low to start the car
    • 0.8V-11.8V: Difficult to start the car
    • 11.8V-12.8V: Normal
  • Instant of engine ignition:
    • <9.0V: Battery aging/loss of power
    • >9.5V: Normal
  • After Engine Starting:
    • >14.8V: Too high may damage battery
    • 12.8V-13.2V: Too low may not charge battery
    • 13.2V-14.8V: Normal

4.10 Informasi Kendaraan

Reads vehicle identification information stored in the ECU, including:

  • VIN (Nomor Identifikasi Kendaraan)

  • CVN (Calibration Verification Number)

4.11 Ulangview

Allows users to review previously saved diagnostic sessions or data stream records.

4.12 Cetak Data

Transmits diagnostic reports, fault codes, data streams, and other information to a computer via USB for printing.

4.13 Pencarian DTC

An integrated fault code database for looking up detailed explanations of fault codes and possible causes of malfunctions. No internet connection is needed for this feature.

DTCs are structured as follows:

  • First Character (System):
    • P - Powertrain
    • U - Network & Vehicle Integration
    • B - Body
    • C - Chassis
  • Second Character (Code Type):
    • 0, 2, or 3 - Standardized (SAE) code
    • 1 - Manufacturer-specific code
  • Third Character (Sub-system):
    • 0 - Fuel & air metering, auxiliary emission controls
    • 1 - Fuel & air metering
    • 2 - Fuel & air metering (injector circuit)
    • 3 - Ignition systems or misfires
    • 4 - Auxiliary emission controls
    • 5 - Speed control and idle control systems
    • 6 - Computer and output circuit
    • 7 - Transmission
    • A-F - Hybrid Trouble Codes
  • Fourth & Fifth Characters: 0-99 Fault Description

5. Pemeliharaan

5.1 Perawatan Perangkat

  1. Press and hold any button on the KW330 until the USB cable is connected with a computer. Release the button after the scan tool displays a message "Update Mode".
  2. Log in to the KONNWEi website (KONNWEi) and enter the Download and Update Tool Center to download the program to your computer (Windows 7/8/10/XP). The official download link is typically provided by KONNWEi. (Example link from image: http://www.itosscanner.com/download/)
  3. Open the downloaded program and click "Check Updates" to automatically update the device.

Note: The update software supports Windows 7/8/10/XP. Mac computers are not supported for direct updates.

6. Penyelesaian masalah
