Pengaturan & Instalasi

The CL1005 lock is designed for easy installation and can serve as a quick retrofit for existing cam locks or for new installations on units without a lock. It fits doors up to 1/2 inch (12.7 mm) thick and features a 5/8 inch (15.8 mm) threaded barrel.

Langkah-langkah Instalasi:

  1. Siapkan Pintu: Use the provided template to mark and drill the necessary holes on the cabinet door. Ensure the door thickness does not exceed 1/2 inch (12.7 mm).

  5. Pasang Baterai: Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the lock. Insert the 2 x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.
  6. Operasi Uji: Before closing the cabinet, test the lock with the default code (refer to the operating instructions for default code and programming).

Petunjuk Pengoperasian

The CL1005 lock operates using a user-programmable code. It is powered by 2 x AAA batteries, providing approximately 15,000 openings.

Battery Failure Override:

In case of battery failure, the lock can be temporarily powered using a 9V battery. Locate the two contact points (LEDs) on the front of the lock. Apply the 9V battery across these points (positive to positive, negative to negative). While holding the 9V battery in place, enter the Master Code to open the lock. Replace the internal AAA batteries immediately after gaining access.

When the batteries are low, the lock may emit a warning signal (e.g., multiple beeps or a red LED flash) upon code entry. Replace the 2 x AAA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. Always use high-quality alkaline batteries.
