- Insert the SmartKey tool firmly and fully into the SmartKey hole. Remove the SmartKey tool.
- Remove the currently programmed key.
- Insert the new key you wish to use fully into the keyhole and turn it 90 degrees counter-clockwise to the vertical position.

Petunjuk Pengoperasian
Mengunci Pintu:
- Dari Luar (Keypad): Press the 'Lock' button (the padlock icon) on the keypad.
- Dari Luar (Kunci): Insert your key and turn it to lock the deadbolt.
- Dari dalam: Putar kenop putar pada rakitan bagian dalam ke posisi terkunci.
Membuka Kunci Pintu:
- Dari Luar (Keypad): Enter your 4-8 digit user code. The deadbolt will retract.
- Dari Luar (Kunci): Insert your key and turn it to unlock the deadbolt.
- Dari dalam: Turn the thumb turn on the interior assembly to the unlocked position.
Kode Pengguna Pemrograman:
The lock comes with a default programming code and two default user codes. It is highly recommended to change these immediately after installation.
- Buka penutup baterai pada rakitan bagian dalam.
- Press the 'Program' button once.
- Enter the 4-digit Programming Code (default is 0-0-0-0).
- Press the 'Lock' button.
- Enter a new 4-8 digit User Code.
- Press the 'Lock' button.
- Test the new user code to ensure it unlocks the door.

Pemeliharaan
Penggantian Baterai:
The SmartCode 5 deadbolt requires 4 AA batteries. When the batteries are low, the lock will emit a series of beeps and/or flash a red light during operation. Replace all four batteries simultaneously with new, high-quality alkaline AA batteries.
