3. Place Decanter: Ensure a clean glass decanter is placed correctly on the brewing plate beneath the filter holder. If brewing a second batch, place the second decanter on the upper warming plate.
4. Isi Reservoir Air: Open the lid of the water reservoir and carefully pour fresh, cold drinking water into it. The machine has a capacity of 1.5 litres per brewing cycle. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.

2. Prepare a descaling solution according to the descaler manufacturer's instructions (e.g., a mixture of white vinegar and water, or a commercial descaling agent).
