The Monoprice 4-Channel Speaker Selector allows you to connect a single stereo amplifier or receiver to up to four pairs of stereo speakers. This device enables you to distribute audio signals to different "zones" within your home, providing flexibility in your home audio setup. It includes an optional impedance protection circuit to maintain a stable load for your amplifier, regardless of the number of speakers in use.

5.1 Identify Connections

The rear panel of the speaker selector features one set of stereo inputs labeled "L INPUTS R" for connecting your amplifier or receiver, and four sets of stereo outputs labeled "OUTPUTS 1" through "OUTPUTS 4" for connecting your speaker pairs.

5.2 Petunjuk Pengkabelan

4. Connect Speakers to Outputs: For each pair of speakers (Zone 1, 2, 3, or 4):
   • Hubungkan Kiri (+) terminal of your speaker to the Kiri (+) output terminal for the desired zone on the speaker selector.
   • Hubungkan Kiri (-) terminal of your speaker to the Kiri (-) output terminal for the desired zone on the speaker selector.
   • Hubungkan Kanan (+) terminal of your speaker to the Kanan (+) output terminal for the desired zone on the speaker selector.
   • Hubungkan Benar (-) terminal of your speaker to the Benar (-) output terminal for the desired zone on the speaker selector.

   Maintain consistent polarity for all speaker connections.

5. Impedance Protection Switch: Locate the impedance protection switch (often on the rear or bottom of the unit).
   • DI: Activates the protection circuit. Recommended for amplifiers with minimum impedance ratings below 8 ohms, or when connecting multiple pairs of speakers simultaneously to prevent amplifier overload. This limits power handling to 70W per channel.
   • MATI: Disables the protection circuit. Allows for higher power handling (up to 140W per channel) but requires careful consideration of your amplifier's minimum impedance rating and the total impedance of connected speakers. Consult your ampmanual lifier.

6. Petunjuk Pengoperasian

Once all connections are made and verified, you can begin using your speaker selector.

1. Nyalakan: Colokkan dan nyalakan amppengangkat/penerima.
