1. Pendahuluan

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your KERN PCD 6K-4 Precision Laboratory Balance. 2. Petunjuk Keselamatan

• Selalu operasikan timbangan di atas permukaan yang stabil, rata, dan bebas dari getaran.
• Avoid exposing the balance to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
• Jangan membebani timbangan melebihi kapasitas maksimumnya yaitu 6000g.
• Keep the balance clean and free from dust and chemical spills.
• Gunakan hanya adaptor daya yang disertakan dengan perangkat.
• Jangan mencoba membongkar atau memperbaiki balance sendiri. Serahkan kepada petugas servis yang berkualifikasi.

4. Pengaturan

5. Petunjuk Pengoperasian

5.1 Daya Hidup/Mati

• To turn the balance ON, tekan tombol AKTIF/NONAKTIF button. The display will show a self-test and then settle at 0.00g.
• To turn the balance MATI, tekan dan tahan tombol AKTIF/NONAKTIF tombol sampai layar mati.

5.2 Penimbangan Dasar

1. Ensure the balance is powered on and displays 0.00g.
2. Letakkan barang yang akan ditimbang dengan hati-hati di tengah platform timbangan.
3. Tunggu hingga tampilan stabil. Berat yang stabil akan ditampilkan.
4. Singkirkan barang tersebut dari platform.

5.3 Fungsi TARE

The TARE function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so only the net weight of the contents is displayed.

1. Place the empty container onto the weighing platform. The display will show its weight.
2. Tekan tombol TARA tombol. Layar akan diatur ulang ke 0.00g.
3. Add the substance to be weighed into the container. The display will show the net weight of the substance.

The balance also features a PRE-TARE function for manual entry of a known container weight. Consult the full manual for detailed instructions on using PRE-TARE, typically accessed via the MODE/KAL or SET/M button in specific modes.

5.4 Unit Selection / Mode

Tekan tombol MODE/KAL button to cycle through available weighing units (e.g., grams, kilograms, pounds, ounces) or to enter different operating modes. Refer to the full manual for a list of supported units and mode functions.

5.5 Kalibrasi

Regular calibration ensures the accuracy of your balance. Calibration should be performed using certified calibration weights.

1. Ensure the balance is stable and free from any load.

• Pembersihan: Cabut aliran listrik sebelum membersihkan. Gunakan kain lembut dan kering.amp cloth with a mild detergent to clean the weighing platform and display unit. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquid enters the device.
• Penyimpanan: When not in use for extended periods, store the balance in a clean, dry, and stable environment. Use the provided safety cover to protect it from dust.
• Inspeksi: Periksa kabel daya dan sambungan secara berkala untuk mendeteksi tanda-tanda kerusakan.
